Rooted in the Neighborhoods We Serve
Henco's technicians live in the same neighborhoods they serve, from Ridgefield and Vancouver to Portland, Beaverton, and Salem. Being part of these communities means more than fixing what breaks. It means creating local jobs, helping homeowners keep their families safe, and showing up for neighbors when it counts.
Building Trade Careers in Southwest Washington and Oregon
Skilled plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians are in short supply across the Pacific Northwest. Henco helps close that gap by hiring locally and training people for long-term careers in the trades.
- Paid, ongoing training for new and experienced technicians
- Apprentice and helper roles for people starting out in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work
- Full benefits, a 401(k) match, and a company truck, tablet, and uniform
- Room to grow into lead, install, and management roles
If you or someone you know is looking for a career in the trades, see our current openings on the Henco careers page.
Home Safety Education for Pacific Northwest Homeowners
Wet winters, ice storms, and older housing stock create real risks for local homes. Our team shares what we see in the field so homeowners can spot problems early and avoid emergency repairs. A few of our most-read guides:
- How to Prevent Burst Pipes This Winter
- Electrical Safety Before Winter for Older Portland Homes

You can find more seasonal tips and how-to guides on the Henco blog.
Going the Extra Mile for Our Neighbors
Some of the moments our team is proudest of have nothing to do with a work order. After one repair, a customer called the office because her cat had gone missing during the visit. The technician went back to the house after his shift ended to help look for it. That is the kind of care we expect on every job, whether it is a midnight water heater failure or a routine tune-up.
Supporting Local Organizations
We want to support the schools, food banks, youth sports teams, and nonprofits that make Clark County, the Portland metro area, and the Willamette Valley strong. Our team is building a list of local causes to support through sponsorships, donated services, and volunteer time, and we will share those partnerships here as they grow.
